I welcome guests myself and take the time to give a full tour, explaining some of the facilities specific to our château: household appliances, the rules for the swimming pool and the safety cover, how the septic tank toilets work, and so on…

Environment:
The Château has 4 hectares of grounds: one hectare houses the buildings, in particular the Dovecote, the 13-metre swimming pool, a 9-metre petanque court, and the terraces, lawns and flowerbeds. Above the Château is a hectare of woodland, criss-crossed by paths that lead to the rock formation at the edge of the village.
We have transformed the Dovecote into a library, complete with armchairs for reading. There's also a bench where you can enjoy a cool siesta away from the Château and the swimming pool.
We also have two hectares of meadow, which is occasionally given over to our sheep farmer, who practises ecopasturing on the village land in order to maintain it in the most respectful way.
I sell local wines, which are available in the kitchen and refrigerated wine cellar. Prices are quoted and payment is made at the end of your stay.

Fun and comfortable outdoors:
- Large 13m x 6m swimming pool 2.20m deep with safety curtain, heated from May to October,
- A pétanque court under the Dovecote,
- Two terraces: one to the east for breakfast, the other to the west for midday and evening barbecues,
- 500m of riverbank on the banks of the Yonne for fishing or canoeing, with two access ports,
- Paths that criss-cross our cliffs and lead to hiking trails on the rock formation of Mailly-le-Château.
Our Château is a Gîte for 10 to 12 people maximum:
It's a place where families and friends can spend their holidays.
Parties and gatherings of more than 12 people are strictly forbidden, as the premises are not suitable or up to standard for this purpose.
Unfortunately we are unable to accept animals, given the furniture and decoration to which we have taken the greatest care.
We ask you to respect this place and its memory.
