Private chefs, catering services, bread delivery and cookery classes
The Château du Colombier offers to host your evenings with an in-home chef.
The food is cooked in front of you, and served to you.
You can even take part in the cooking and learn a few culinary techniques and gestures.
In all cases, bookings must be made at least 10 to 15 days before the dinner or lunch you wish to organise at the Château.
If you wish, I can arrange a wine and food pairing with the wines on sale at the Château.
Le Château also offers home delivery of meals, main courses and desserts, prepared in advance by our partner chefs.
All you have to do is reheat the dishes according to the instructions left by the Chefs.
I can suggest wines to go with the dishes you have chosen, to give you a complete Burgundian gastronomic experience.
Dishes must be reserved with the Chefs at least 15 to 10 days before the desired delivery date.

Stéphane is a former Parisian restaurateur who now offers his culinary talents near the Château, and can cook for you at the Château for lunch or dinner. He also offers a catering service with home delivery.

The Château works with Maison Duchon, a bakery in Châtel-Censoir, which offers home delivery of pastries (croissants, pain au chocolat, pain aux raisins, brioches, etc.), and breads (traditional baguettes, seeded baguettes, whole wheat bread, rustic loaves, etc.).
Deliveries are made in the morning at the Château, while you're still asleep: our baker leaves your orders under the lean-to next to the kitchen. Orders must be placed before noon the day before for delivery the following morning.
