Our location away from the village ensures peace and quiet for our guests. The Château has an estate of 4 hectares.
Mailly-le-Château has a café tabac and a small grocery shop.

Le Gîte ‘Le Château du Colombier’ is located in the Yonne department, close to the region's most popular tourist attractions:
- Vézelay and Avallon,
- Arcy-sur-Cure and its fabulous prehistoric caves,
- Chablis and its wine town,
- La Fosse Dionne and the Hôtel Dieu in Tonnerre,
- The castles of Guédelon, still under construction, Meaulnes, Ancy le Franc, Saint Fargeau and Tanlay,
- The Rochers du Saussois, a popular climbing spot,
- The Canal du Nivernais, where half-day cruises are available at Merry-sur-Yonne, 4km from the Château,
- The vineyards of Irancy, Saint-Bris le Vineux, Chitry, Coulange la Vineuse, Tonnerre, Epineuil and, of course, Chablis.
