Wine-tasting workshops:

Six to Twelve People

I offer ‘Tasting’ workshops based on local wine themes (Whites - Reds - Classic and unexpected grape varieties ...). My workshops are based on the tasting of eight wines, which is a maximum to appreciate the nuances of each of them. Several of the workshops include ‘Grand Cru’ Chablis, bottles that are rarely uncorked during tastings.

The tasting is accompanied by explanations of the terroirs, vintages, grape varieties and methods of vine cultivation. "Bio" and “Biodynamie” are important to me, as I live in the Chablis region, where our water tables are unfortunately polluted by intensive, chemical wine-growing.

If you particularly like certain wines, I sell them in boxes of 6 bottles (you can mix and match wines from the same Domaine)... to prolong your memories of Burgundy. Enjoy your tasting! 

All the opened bottles are left at your disposal after the workshop. This is why the price of each workshop is based on the value of the bottles uncorked, and not on the number of participants.

The tasting is accompanied by local culinary specialities (charcuterie, cheese, gougères, etc.).

Wine sales directly at the Château:

I also offer a fine selection of local wines: white wines from Chablis, Sancerre, and other regions... as well as red wines from Irancy, Epineuil, and Tannay. The wines are available at the Château, in the bar, and in the kitchen wine cellar. Simply note the bottles you’ve tasted in the logbook; payment is due at checkout.
