Ursule, the Cat of the Chateau : my life, my rules
My story
Hello, my name is Ursule, and I was born in May 2023 in the Parc du Château as a stowaway.
I waited until I was 2 months old to meet the owners and get to know them.
This is my home! I spent over a year working on the Château's renovation site, in the company of the craftsmen to whom I showed all my sociability.
I'm a bit mischievous, always trying to slip in where I'm not allowed, especially in the bedrooms.
My life at the Château
I'm self-sufficient: I have a food dispenser and a water fountain in the cellar, which I reach via a window well. I'm often in the caretaker's house, where I have my own entrances.
I always sleep outside, not in the Château.
I'm the nicest cat in the world, and I'm only looking for cuddles and human company.
You have to be nice to me.
I meow a lot, probably to say that I exist and that I want to be looked after!
My lifestyle rules
✓ I'm not allowed to sleep in the Castle at night, I take the opportunity to live my life as a cat outside, mainly walking in the Park, hunting, eating and sleeping ...
✓ I mustn't go into the bedrooms: that's why you have to make sure the doors are closed. I tend to always find the door left open to go and sleep on the beds, I love duvets!!!
✓ If my humans are there, I can stay with them in the living rooms and dining room ... without clawing at the armchairs and sofas! I never stay alone in the Castle if no one is there: my life is outside.
✓ I tend to get hungry all the time, and climb up on the dining room table to try and eat ... even though I know I'm not allowed to: you have to call me to order and put me on the floor so I don't pick at your plates.
✓ To sum up, I don't eat inside with you, I don't drink the water from the toilet, and I don't sleep on the beds!
